Education Qualification:
- Must hold a certificate of competency as per R. R. i) Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. ii) One-year post qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.
- Age Limit – 60 years – preference shall be given to Pilots below the above age of 58 years. However, relaxable up to 65 years, considering the fact that a number of Mariners retired as Pilots from other Major Ports may be available to meet the requirement:
- Ex-Pilots of DPT, may also be considered for appointment as Pilots on contract basis.
- Interested candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualifications for the above mentioned post, have to mail soft copies of documents i.e. proof of Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Experience, recent passport size photographs and current identity proof to recruitment@deendayalport.gov.in latest by 20/02/2021.
Selection Process: Final Selection will be based om personal interview.
